Fred E. Anderson was a charter member of the Arizona Coaches Association Hall of Fame.  He was the head basketball coach at Flagstaff High School for 20 years.  The Eagles basketball players were 364-138 under Coach Anderson.  Anderson's teams were 8 times conference champions and were the large school State 5A Basketball basketball champions in 1954-55.  From 1965-68, the Eagles won 39 consecutive division games.  Coach Anderson also coached football, golf, cross-country, baseball, and skiing during his 27 years at Flagstaff.
