Several players from the west side Phoenix Union Maryvale High School played Division 1, and 3 of the Panthers played in the In the National Football League.  Enjoy these pictures from the past (primarily from publications of Barry Sollenberger).  These players were at Maryvale in the 1980's and 1990's and played for Hall of Fame Coach Buck Hall.  Coach Hall was also the president of the Arizona High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame for 20 years ending in 2017.  #6 is Darren Woodson, #65 is Frank Garcia, #21 is Kevin Galbreath, #1 is Phillipi Sparks, and #23 is Tony Jones.
