Bob began his coaching career as an assistant at Bradshaw Mountain in 1995 before being named head coach at McClintock High School a year later .  In 2000, he moved to Mesquite High, and in 2006 he accepted the head coaching position at Mesa Mountain View.  His teams posted 381 wins with only 116 losses for a winning percentage of 77%.  His Mountain View Toros won the State Championships in 2014 and 2015, were State Runners-Up twices, and were the Region Champions from 2013 through 2016.  At one point in this streak they were ranked the 24th best high school wrestling program in the nation.

Herman began his storied wrestling head coaching career at Safford High School in the Fall of 1999.  Highlights of his 21 years at Safford include and 83% winning percentage, 7 state championships, 3 state runners-up, and 15 regional championships.  He was named National Coach of the Year in 2007 by the National High School Athletic Coaches' Association.  He was Arizona State Coach of the Year 7 times and Region Coach of the Year an amazing 15 times.  Herman's wrestlers have garnered 39 individual state championships, 22 individual runners-up, and 126 individual region titles.  He has coach

Tom came to Arizona in 1965 from White Bear Lake High School in central Minnesota and began his Arizona wrestling career as an assistant at Ajo High School.  Two years later Tom was the head coach and remained at Ajo another 22 years.  In 1989 Wokasch moved to Mingus Union High School where he remained another 21 years.  Coach Wokasch made his final move to Queen Creek High School in 2010 and plans to retire from there at the end of this (2017) school year.  In his 40 years + career Coach Wokasch has amassed 514 dual match victories with an 81% winning ratio.  Coach's teams have won 5 Arizo

Russ Winer coached high school wrestling for 26 years at Arcadia, Chandler, and Dobson High Schools.  His teams won 135 and only lost 58 in dual matches for a winning percentage of 69.9%.  Winer's Dobson Mustangs were the 1993 Class 5A State Wrestling Champions.  Coach was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2005.  He was inducted into the Arizona Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame in 2009.  Coach Winer was the All Star Wrestling Coach on two occasions.  In retirement, Russ has been a clinic speaker and served on the High School Junior Olympics Committee.  H

John Carlson was the head wrestling coach at Chandler High School in the late 1980's and 1990's.  Coach Chandler's Wolves were the back to back Class 5A State Wrestling Champions in 1989 and 1990.  The 1989 team broke Tucson Sunnyside's 8 year streak of State Titles.  The Wolves won the meet by a mere 6 points, but it was enough for the gold.  Coach Carlson was inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2013.

John McGlumphy is often remembered as the "Father of Rural School Wrestling".  He taught and coached at Benson High School from 1958 until 1989.  His 1971 Bobcats were the Class 2A State Champions.  His 1962 and 1963 teams were the Arizona State Runners-Up.   He coached 22 individual state champions.  Coach McGlumphy is credited with helping several rural schools in the southeastern  rural areas of Arizona to begin wrestling programs.  John was honored as the ACA 1995 Wrestling Decicatee at the All Star Matches.  Coach McGlumphy was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2011

Gilbert Padilla finished an outstanding career at Morenci High School as the head wrestling coach in 2006.  His Wildcats were 5 time Class 3A State Wrestling Champions in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2005.  They were the State Runners-Up in 1998, and third at the state meet in 2004.  Coach Padilla has been inducted into the Arizona Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.  Padilla was the National Coach of the Year twice (1996 and 2000), and the ACA Wrestling Coach of the Year 5 times (1999, 2001, 2003, 2005).  Padilla was the head coach of the ACA All Star Wrestling Matches twice, an
