Todd Ford

Todd Ford coached wrestling in Arizona from 1985 to 2006.  Coach Ford worked at Maricopa, Tempe, Mountain Pointe, and Desert Vista.  Coach Ford compiled a 65% winning percentage which included 217 career dual match victories.  His boys were the 2002 State Runner-Up.   Coach Ford has been chosen the Region 8 Coach of the Year on two separate occasions and been an All-Star Wrestling Coach twice.  Coach Ford is a past president of the Arizona Coaches Wrestling Association.  Coach served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Coaches Association for 4 years.

Richard Gray

Richard Gray was a successful football coach in high school and college for over 33 years. Coach Gray spent time at Shadow Mountain, Horizon, Gilbert, Chandler, and the Arizona Boy's Ranch.   His early 2000's Arizona Boys Ranch teams were among the best at the 3A level.  The Boy's Ranch teams were State Runners-Up in 2002 and 2003.  Coach Gray was an All Star Coach in 2001 and 2005.   Coach Gray also was a Defensive Line Coach at Northern Arizona University.  Richard was the Arizona State Coach of the Year in 1981 and 2002.  Coach Gray is a lifetime member of the Arizona Coaches Association

Thomas "Alva" Hawkins

Thomas "Alva" Hawkins was a great coach from a great athletic school, Coolidge, AZ.  Coach Hawkins taught 10 years in Oklahoma before moving to Coolidge.  He stayed there 28 more years.  Coach Hawkins won back to back football titles in 1967 and 1968.  Coach also won the Boys Track Title in the spring of 1969.  Coach Hawkins was a veteran of WWII and managed to get his education through the GI Bill following the war.  Alva was one of many that served all of us so we could coach high school sports in a free country--which would put him in any American's Hall of Fame.

Robert Robinson

Coach Robinson garnered 3 state titles in Boys' Track at Mesa Mountain View in 1994, 2003, and 2004.  He coached his Toros to 6 other runners-up finishes with the second place trophies in 1997, 98, 99, 2002, 08, and 10.  Coach Robinson was selected by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association as the Coach of the Year for Boys Track in 2008.  Coach Robinson served as the president of the National High School Athletic Coaches Association in 2015.

Steve Schneider

Steve coached golf and football in Snowflake, Arizona beginning in 1984 through 2014.  Steve's golf teams won 10 state titles during that span.  Steve was instrumental in conducting the AIA state golf tournament on several occasions.  Steve was also a key assistant on 7 state title football teams in Snowflake during that same period.  Many of Coach Schneider's players have gone on to play college golf.
