Wolfgang Weber

Born February 2, 1947 in a Coal mining town near Aachen Germany  Played youth soccer for Viktoria Alsdorf for 10 years and another 8 years for several amateur teams in Frankfurt, Germany and Geneva, Switzerland.  Immigrated to the United States in 1973 and started coaching youth soccer in 1975 for the Pima County Junior Soccer League.  1977 Co-founder of Southern Arizona’s first year around Soccer Club “Tucson United” which evolved into Tucson Soccer Academy and FC Tucson Youth Soccer today.  Was the first coach in Southern Arizona to receive “United States Soccer Federation” Nation

Tim Beck

Tim began coaching high school soccer as an assistant at Ironwood High School in 1993.  A year later Tim assumed the head coaching position.  To this date Tim's teams have won 338, lost 90, and tied 17 times for a winning percentage of almost 80%.  Beck's Ironwood Eagles have been the Arizona State Soccer Champions 3 times, State Runners-Up 2 times, and Regional Champions an amazing 11 times.  Coach Beck was named the National Soccer Federation Coach of the Year in 2001, the Region 8 Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association in 2000 and 2011, the local Regio

Jack Altersitz

Coach Altersitz began his coaching career in Holfbrook as a basketball coach in 1957.  His 1971 Roadrunners won the State Class 3A State Basketball Championship.  Jack Altersitz was one of the pioneers for prep soccer.   Coach Altersitz's Cactus Cobra Boys Soccer Teams won six State Class 4A State Titles in 1990, 91, 92, 96, 02, and 03.  Cactus lost the State Title game in 1993 1-0 to close rival Ironwood High School.  Coach was well liked by his players and treated his teams like "family".    Overall Altersitz's record over his 24 years of coaching was 338-84-15.  Altersitz was chosen the
