Tom Dingman

Tom Dingman was inducted into the Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame in 1998.  Coach Dingman was a successful football coach at Ajo and Glendale High Schools.  Dingman went on to be a very successful insurance broker.

Tom Davis

Tom Davis was a very successful 1A Football Coach in southeastern Arizona in the 1980's and 1990's.  Coach Davis had good years in Pima and good years at Elfrida Valley Union.  Davis' Pima Roughriders were the Class 1A State Football Champions in 1984.  Pima was also the State Runner-Up the year before.  Moving on to Valley Union, Coach Davis' Blue Devils were State Runners-Up in 1987 and 1990.  Tom was very active in the Arizona Coaches Association and was the president late in the 1990's.  Coach was active in many of the ACA All Star Activities at Eastern Arizona College late in the 80's

David Cruickshank

Coach David Cruickshank's cross country teams dominated the Class 5A schools in the  1980's.  Coaching at Phoenix Trevor Browne High School, Cruickshank's Bruins were the Class 5A State Champions in 1985, 1986, 1988, and 1989.  The 1987 team was the State Runner-Up.

Dave Conatser

Dave Conatser has spent his life teaching and coaching in Winslow, Arizona.  Dave's boys and girls cross country teams were very successful during the late 60's through the early 90's.  His boy Bulldogs were the Class 4A State Champions in 1972 and 1973.  The boys were State Runners-Up in 1970, 1971, 1974, and 1975.  Winslow shows up finishing third at the State Meet in 1968, 1969, 1993, 1997, and 1999.  The Lady Bulldogs under Conatser were the Class 4A State Champions in 1976 and 1977.  The girls were also Runners-Up in 1978 and third in 1983.

Bobby Gonzalo

Bobby Gonzalo coached wrestling for over 35 years at Peoria High School.  His Panthers built a 178-38-2 record during Gonzalo's tenure.  Coach Gonzalo led his boys following the wise old adage, "don't curse the darkness, light the candle."  The 1998 Peoria Panthers won a whopping 465 matches, scored the 7th highest point total at a state meet (231), and had the 6th highest pin total in Arizona history with 247.  One of Gonzalo's wrestlers, Sammy Chagolla, won 100 straight matches from 1980-83.

Roy Fenton

Roy Fenton was recognized by his alma mater Eastern Illinois University as the Outstanding Educator in the 2010 alumni awards.  Fenton spent his career at Dysart High School on Phoenix west side coaching primarily track.  Fenton's dual track meet recored was an unbelievable 144-4.  His Dysart Demons won 6 Class 3A State Track Titles, and his Lady Demons won one.  Coach Fenton has been inducted into 5 Halls of Fame with the last being the National High School Athletic Coaches Association in 2010.  Roy was the keynote speaker at the National Symposium for Outdoor Education in Carefree, Arizon
