Gerald Seaquist

Gerald "Gerry" Seaquist led his Xavier Prep Gators to ten state swimming titles.  The Gators were #1 in the years 1985, 89, 91, 92,93,94,95,96,97, and 1999.  Coach Seaquist was also the State Runner-Up twice during that span.

Jay Denton

Santa Cruz Valley High School in Eloy, AZ and Coach Denton go hand in hand.  Anyone who has lived in Eloy from 1969-2005 knows of his coaching accomplishments.  Jay grew up in Wyoming and graduated from Eastern Montana College.  He started the wrestling program at Santa Cruz High School in 1969 and finished his coaching career at Santa Cruz in 2005.  He took a ten year hiatus (1978-1988) from teaching and coaching to work in the business sector.  In Jay's 24 years at Eloy he coached 3 State Championship Wrestling teams, 2 State Runners-Up, 9 Regional Championships, 45 individual state champ

John Tissaw

Coach John Tissaw spent his life coaching basketball around the state of Arizona with stops in Snowflake, Cottonwood, Thatcher, Tucson Amphi, and ultimately Tucson Canyon Del Oro.  Coach Tissaw's Dorados were back to back State Class 4A Champions in 1977 and 1978.  Coach Tissaw passed away in 2007.

Herman "BB" Andrews

Coach Herman Andrews was a phenomenally successful track coach for the Safford Bulldogs for over 20 years.  Coach Andrews teams won 10 3A  Boy's State Championships and 2 Runners-Up.   Coach Andrews' Lady Bulldogs won a remarkable 15 State Championships during the same time span.   BB was also an assistant in other sports and his son is currently a very successful State Champion Coach  in Wrestling at Safford.  Coach Andrews was selected by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association as their 2004 Coach of the Year for Girls Track.  The Track and Field complex at Safford now bears
