Karen Self

Karen Self has been the head girls' basketball coach at Seton Catholic Prep for 31 years and running.  Coach Self's teams have won 83% of their games over those years.  The Sentinels have won a remarkable 15 Arizona State Girls' Basketball Titles during Coach Self's continuing reign.  Not only have they won 15 titles, they were the Arizona State Runners-Up 4 more times (17 appearances in the Title game in 31 years), and were the region champs 30 consecutive years.

Kenneth Troutt

Kenneth Troutt coached boys' basketball in Arizona for 26 years, four as an assistant at Westwood, and a combined 22 more years as the head coach at Cactus and Peoria High Schools.  Troutt's teams won over 60% of their games with 301 total victories.  His boys were the Arizona State Champions in 1994, State Runners-Up twice, and the region champions six times.  Troutt was named the Arizona High School Basketball Coach of the Year in 1994, Region Coach of  the Year 3 times, and West Valley Coach of the Year 4 times.  He was an Arizona Coaches Association Assistant All-Star Coach in 1989.   C

Cranston Hysong

Cranston began his 31 year head coaching career at Winslow High School in 1970 where he coached the Bulldogs for 11 years.  Hysong was also a head coach at both Tolleson and Westview for 10 years each.  Coach Hysong's teams won over 271 track meets and won over 60% of them overall.  Cranny's track teams have won 5 Arizona State Championships, placed second 4 times, and were region champions 9 times.  The Arizona Interscholastic Association named Coach Hysong the 3A North Track Coach of the Year on three occasions.  Coach Hysong was named the Region 8 Coach of the Year by the National High S

Bartt Underwood

Bartt's 24 year head coaching career began in 1991 at Centennial High School and he is still coaching softball at Cactus as of this writing.  Underwood's teams have won 71% of their games over that span with an Arizona State Title in 2010, 5 State Runners-Up, and an amazing 13 region titles.  Coach Underwood served as the Coaches Association All-Star Coach 3 times and the All-Star Assistant Coach twice.  Bartt has been his Region Coach of the Year 13 times, and the West Valley Coach of the Year 4 times.  Coach Underwood is frequently sought out for clinics and personalized lessons.  Coach U

Joe Kenrick

Joe Kenrick coached baseball at Wickenburg High School over 30 years as part of a 40 year career at the school.  In addition to baseball, Kenrick coached basketball and football for almost 10 years.  The Wickenburg Wranglers won two Arizona State Titles (1970 and 1980) under Kenrick along with 6 region titles for a 58% winning percentage.  Coach Kenrick was the Division Coach of the Year awarded by the Arizona Republic in 1980.  He was the 3A Region West Coach of the Year 4 times.  Joe was the 3A All Star baseball coach for the Arizona Coaches Association in 1977 and 1989.  The Arizona Coac

Tom Wokasch

Tom came to Arizona in 1965 from White Bear Lake High School in central Minnesota and began his Arizona wrestling career as an assistant at Ajo High School.  Two years later Tom was the head coach and remained at Ajo another 22 years.  In 1989 Wokasch moved to Mingus Union High School where he remained another 21 years.  Coach Wokasch made his final move to Queen Creek High School in 2010 and plans to retire from there at the end of this (2017) school year.  In his 40 years + career Coach Wokasch has amassed 514 dual match victories with an 81% winning ratio.  Coach's teams have won 5 Arizo
